Information

Fossilized skull of SCP-104-CS, discovered near Brno. The picture shown in a cyan-red spectrum was taken using a Contraconceptual Field Meter (CFM) and highlights trace amounts of antimemetic energy in red.

Fossilized footprint of SCP-104-CS's hind limb. Trace amounts of antimemetic energies also highlighted in red.

Special Containment Procedures
All discovered fossils of SCP-104-CS are kept in a Storage Wing of the Department of Paleontology at Site-05CS. The entire inventory belonging to this designation contains:
Access to these items is limited to approved paleontological personnel of the Department with Clearance Level 3, as well as to Dr. František Pilát. The inherent anomalous properties of these items necessitate the presence of at least one member of staff using Class-W mnestics, currently Dr. František Pilát.
Description
SCP-104-CS is a designation for an extinct species of a theropod dinosaur, Nihilsaurus bohemica belonging to the nihilsauridae family of which it is the only known member.1 Evidence from the fossil record seems to suggest that SCP-104-CS inhabited the area of central Europe2 around 70 million years ago in the late Cretacious period. Adult instances grew to be 2,5 meters in length and 1,2 meters in height. They were most likely carnivorous scavengers and occasional group hunters, living in pairs or small family units.
In around 80% of cases, fossil remnants belonging to this species exhibit traces of an antimemetic field, leading Foundation paleontologists to believe that alive instances of SCP-104-CS were either partially or completely hidden from perception of other creatures.
In its current weaker state this antimemetic field only causes partial loss of information about the object. Due to this effect, it's almost impossible to forget about the existence of the fossilized remains while in their direct presence. However, this effect is strong enough to change the behaviour of persons in close proximity, or persons mentioning the object in a conversation, written text, or simply reffering to it. This manifests as people talking about SCP-104-CS having a tendency to easily change the topic, or unintentionally stop mentioning the object in a conversation, without directly ignoring it. For a reference and example of this effect, this document went through five separate rewrites and is currently almost five times shorter then in its first iteration, despite still containing roughly the same amount of information about SCP-104-CS.

Example Log for new Division members
What follows is a sample of recorded information from Dr. František Pilát, a Specialized Worker of the Antimemetics Division for the Czech Branch, who is responsible for the object in question. Because of the low-risk posed by this anomaly and its weak effect, Dr. Pilít decided to use SCP-104-CS as an example for new (or returning) members of the Antimemetics Division, as well as a training subject.

Dr. Ondřej Vícha, Lead of Paleontological Digs
Agent Tereza Ježíšková, On-Site SecurityForeword: As part of an experiment, Dr. Pilát asked two of his colleagues for a permission to use his dictaphone during lunchtime. Consequently, he attempted to bring up the topic of SCP-104-CS in a conversation so he could observe its anomalous effect.
Dr. Vícha: - so when are you going to start recording?
Dr. Pilát: Don't let that bother you. Pretend like I didn't say anything. By the way, how's work?
Dr. Vícha: It's good, but if this is some kind of trick… Work, work, what with it? It's going alright.
Dr. Pilát: Anything unusual? What about SCP-104-CS?
Dr. Vícha: What? I'm sorry, I didn't understand what you said.
Dr. Pilát: I asked you about SCP-104-CS.
Agent Ježíšková: That number doesn't ring a bell.
Dr. Pilát: We talked about it yesterday, remember?
Dr. Vícha: Oh but of course! Those bones are marvelous. Now I get why you're recording this. And- hey, didn't you have a silver dictaphone before?
Dr. Pilát: I borrowed this one. Mine is in the office. What were you saying about those bones?
Agent Ježíšková: What wasn't he saying about those bones? How they're special, so well-preserved, how nice they are to work with. Oh what I'd give for this much attention from him.
Dr. Vícha: Oh come on, Teri, you know you're the only one I want to bone.
Agent Ježíšková: (Laughs) Oh gosh, you still think that joke is funny… oh well. I love you, you know?
Dr. Vícha: I love you too.
Dr. Pilát: Not to interrupt this but I heard they found another front limb skeleton near Brno. Any idea if it's true?
Dr. Vícha: Front limb? Of what?
Dr. Pilát: SCP-104-CS? The dinosaur we're talking about.
Dr. Vícha: Oh, yes, right sorry, I didn't quite catch that.
Agent Ježíšková: As long as we don't find a live one. Last thing we need is an invisible lizard.
Dr. Pilát: Technically they wouldn't be invisible, just impercievable. But I can assure you that you wouldn't know the difference.
Agent Ježíšková: I still don't get it. Oh and Franta, I always want to ask you but I keep forgetting, what is it that you're working on?
Dr. Pilát: Same as always. Antimemetic anomalies with a focus on objects and artifacts.
Agent Ježíšková: Well, I meant what are you working on currently, but thinking about it, I don't even know what it is you usually do.
Dr. Pilát: I know how you meant it. And since you're asking, I'm working on SCP-104-CS, just like Ondra here.
Dr. Vícha: Sorry, what are you talking about? I spaced out for a moment and heard my name.
Agent Ježíšková: Franta talked about you two working together.
Dr. Vícha: Oh and on what project? I'm sorry, I have a lot on my plate lately.
Dr. Pilát: It's okay. SCP-104-CS, you know.
Dr. Vícha: Oh that's right, I should write that down somewhere. It keeps slipping out of my mind. Didn't you say it's actally a pretty weak anomaly compared to what you're usually working with?
Dr. Pilát: I did say that. Interesting. I didn't expect you to remember that.
Agent Ježíšková: So what do you work with exactly, if this is considered weak?
Dr. Pilát: Same as always. Antimemetic anomalies with a focus on objects and artifacts.
Agent Ježíšková: Well, I meant what are you working on currently, but thinking about it, I don't even know what it is you usually do.
Dr. Pilát: I know how you meant it. Oh well, I suppose that is enough. Thank you both and I wish you a nice day.
Dr. Vícha: Are you going already?
Dr. Pilát: Yes, I still have to edit the SCP-104-CS document and upload a file there.
Agent Ježíšková: I see, well don't let us stop you. And hey, someday you'll have to tell us about the work you do. When you have the time.
