Plane #17
Initial claims of Plane #17's current iteration were reported in November 1943. Though previously used as a minor thoroughway by many groups to travel between several more populated planes in the past, an apparent topographical transformation has rendered it functionless. Only known entrance and egress is through an inconspicuous closet, currently located in the Storage Zone 1 antechamber. Previous iterations of Plane #17 have been stricken from most available databases.
Plane #17 comprises a series of 217 athwartship passages of standard early-to-mid twentieth-century design. Each corridor is identical in structure aside from deviations in sanitation, upkeep, and occupancy. Sections are divided into 42 compartments, all with furnishings expected of a naval vessel. These compartments include barracks, kitchens, communication centers, and engineering stations. Each passageway is separated by a reinforced bulkhead door. Evidence construed from anecdotal testimonies and time-keeping devices suggests independent temporal operation of the individual compartments.
Each section may contain one or more human occupants or the remains thereof; it is ill advised to interact with these residents, as they possess varying degrees of hostility and cognitive ability.
Attached is a non-comprehensive list of noteworthy observations, organised by sector and ordered numerically from distance to the entrance.
Recovery of persons found in Plane #17 was considered a misallocation of resources at the time, all investigations were halted in light of this decision. Due to the plane being unviable as a nexus point it currently serves no use—further explorations are considered redundant and have been deemed unnecessary.
