Level 275 consists mainly of a mysterious, anomalous elevator, known simply as The Elevator. It was discovered by Dr. Alice Parkson, the namesake of the level, on February 10, 2023.

The image of the shaft The Elevator travels upon. The wanderer who took this photo said they managed to noclip into the ceiling and take this photo before they were forced back into The Elevator.
Description
It must be noted before continuing, that only one wanderer can exist on this level at any given time. Any attempts to enter this level while someone else is already in it will not work.
Level 275 consists of two sections, The Entrance Hall and The Elevator. The Entrance Hall is the place where most wanderers will appear upon entering the level. It is a small hallway consisting of maple wood side platforms, a concrete ceiling, and a white checkered floor. Upon entering the door, it will mysteriously disappear behind the wanderer. There is not a known way to escape the level in this area, and wanderers will have no choice but to continue onward.
After a short walk through the hallway, the wanderer should encounter the main point of interest in the level, colloquially called The Elevator. The Elevator's design is similar to a 1950's elevator. Its car is six feet wide and is mostly brown with a few wooden planks scattered about it. On its front are copper bars with an open door on the right of it.
Once a wanderer walks into The Elevator, the doors will shut behind them and The Elevator will then begin going up. At this point, one of two voices will greet the wanderer in The Elevator, dubbed Question and Rose. They will both say some variant of the following line: "Welcome to {speech unintelligible}, it's a pleasure to serve you and we hope you enjoy your time at our humble abode."
From there, the wanderer will be locked into The Elevator for an indefinite amount of time. How long this is differs for different wanderers. Some claim that the journey only felt like hours, others days, and in extremely rare cases, months. Through The Elevator's limited view, wanderers can see a gray concrete stairwell spiraling around them. During their trip, they will be provided with food from an unknown source, which appears suddenly where the wanderer isn't looking. This food is typically a grayish substance in a bowl that is described as tasting similar to cooked pork; however a small bowl of honey-flavored cereal and/or a chocolate chip cookie have also been reported.
At some point, Question will tell the wanderer inside some variant of the following phrase: "Unfortunately, (Wanderer's name), it appears your stay is over. We are honored that you chose us for your services, and we hope you come back!" Once this is said, they will instantly noclip into the ground and be transported to a random level.
Entities and Events
Level 275 lacks entities of any kind in The Entrance Hall. However, in The Elevator, three voices speak to the one inside throughout their time in the Elevator. These are:
In addition to these three voices, multiple strange occurrences may happen while a wanderer is in The Elevator. The following list displays some of the more commonly reported events:
Bases, Communities and Outposts
There is no possible way for a true base, outpost or community to form due to the nature of Level 275.
Notes and Additional Info
The following collapsible contains a page from one of the journals of Dr. Alice Parkson, the official discoverer of Level 275. Once someone connected to the B.N.T.G, she decided to go on a journey to find the level after rumors of a mysterious red door in Level 5 swirled around Backrooms forums. Eventually, she found the level, and was subsequently trapped within the Elevator and left with the voices. This page of the journal was later found by an anonymous B.N.T.G worker in Level 33. This is the last known trace of Parkson, and she has not been seen since.
I've been trapped down here for so long, and I'm starting to think I won't get out.
The only reason I came down here was to find that door everybody and their mother was speaking about on the forums…I, for one thought it was all a heap of bogus. I don't even entirely know why I even bothered to check it out in the first place.
But as it turns out, it was real. When I entered the door, all I found was a hallway, with nowhere to go but forward. And when I went forward, I stumbled across this elevator. It looked really old and vintage, like it didn’t even work anymore.
However, when I went inside it to investigate more, the doors of the thing closed behind me, trapping me inside. Then the elevator started going up…and up…and up. No matter what I tried to do to stop it or escape it, it just kept going up. And it's been going up for what's felt like weeks…not that I know how much time has passed, of course.
Suddenly, a male voice started speaking to me, thanking me for 'staying at this establishment' or something like that. Then, odd things started happening. Fresh plates of food appeared just in the corner of my vision, ready to eat. The door opens sometimes and reveals an entirely different level, but every time there would always be something in the way to stop me from leaving. That same male voice kept returning, trying to play games with me or something like that, but I tried to not talk to it as much as possible.
And for better or for worse, that is the situation I have found myself in. As I said, I have no idea how long it's been in here, but it's felt like weeks. Will I ever get out of here, or will I just be fed strange things and trapped in this moving cage until I decide to just stop eating or end it all, I really don't know…I was losing all hope of escaping…
And then…she started speaking. I don't know her true name, but she told me once to refer to her as Rose. But anyways, sometimes, when I was at my worst pits of despair in this box, she would suddenly start speaking to me. Her voice…it was soothing. It was much like my mother's…except, somehow, sweeter. She was asking me innocent questions, such as how was I, how did I end up in this place, etcetera. I responded to the questions (I'd rather not reveal the answers I gave), and we continued to have a great and soothing conversation for quite a while after that, until she suddenly went offline. Our entire ordeal together, it was like talking to a therapist about all your problems, and them telling you it's all going to be okay.
Eventually, sadly, she stopped talking to me after a while, once again leaving me all alone in this glorified prison cell. But she has visited me since that initial encounter. I believe…two times, she has visited me? It doesn't matter, the point is that it seems we have some kind of connection…a sense of direction, if you will. She always seems to come when I'm at my lowest in here…like she knows.
And yet, despite her comforting presence, this feeling of fear in this place is not going away. I'm still wondering if I'm ever going to make it out here, and that other male voice is still tormenting me with this useless 'trivia time' or something. And sometimes, I hear these noises…they sound human, but they are definitely not…it's more like random noises that are trying to sound human, if you know what I mean. All of it is making me even more terrified than I was before, even with her voice coming in sometimes to cheer me up. I'm not saying she isn't comforting, but it's like it isn't enough. It's almost like something…somewhere, is trying to make me afraid. To drain my fear away for…for something…
Ugh, I'm going a bit off track. All I want is for some miracle to happen and a way to escape here presents itself. I don't know how much longer I can stay here, even with her and her voice…
Entrances and Exits
Entrances
There are many ways to enter Level 275.
Exits
There is no known way to willingly leave this level. After an indefinite period of time, one will noclip through the floor of The Elevator and end up in a random level of The Backrooms.
Ahh, thank you. I was starting to grow…concerned, that nobody would see my message.
Anyway, nice to truly meet you. My name is…well, that's not important. All you need to know is that I've been watching you browse this site for quite some time. You must be one of the poor souls trapped down here, right? Wandering this endless maze of walls and corridors in a desperate bid to get out? Of course you are. There's no other reason you'd be surfing this ugly Wikipedia ripoff.
Don't be afraid however, because like you, I've been lost down here a long time too. In fact, I used to work for the M.E.G. as a writer, but I may have…gotten into trouble over a few things, and that Oliver Stone guy is my replacement. I'll be your best friend, here to help you navigate the twists and turns of this place, outsmart and outmaneuver the killing machines in every corner, and give you your ticket out of the Backrooms…okay, maybe not that last point, but the point is that I'm here to help you, and in exchange, you're here to help me. Got it? Good.
Allow me to give you your first piece of advice. This page describes Parkson's Elevator, as I'm sure you're aware, as well as all the trials and tribulations that come with it. Most of the information you've seen in this page is accurate and helpful to your survival, and there's no chance you'll die here. Keyword there being "most". Because despite the M.E.G. being proclaimers of truth and betterers of humanity or whatnot, sometimes they miss things…or sometimes, they withhold some things from you, or may, occasionally, even lie to you. Suffice it to say…something of that flavor is happening here.
Specifically, it's about that Rose chick you've been hearing about. It's like not even the M.E.G. has any idea who the fuck she is or what her purpose is. Well, my friend, that's because they don't. You see, despite how friendly she herself and the article portrays this chick, she is far more than she seems on the surface.
In truth, Rose is the only entity in this level. The other two are just alternate personalities created by her to trick you. The moment you walk into that Elevator, she has you right in her trap. She feeds off of your insecurities, your terror, your very fear. She designed the entire level to achieve that goal. She won't kill you, at least not directly, but once she is finally done with you, you'll wish she did.
Now, how do I know this? Well, I'll tell you, but not right here. I'm running out of time before the servers boot me out, so follow my lead, and we can get this secret out.
So here's the deal: Go to Level 5 and wait until you see a certain red door. You know which one I'm talking about. Go through it and you'll end up in the Entrance Hall. There, lying on the floor, is a leather-bound book. The cover is yellow with a red snake symbol on it, so it's impossible to miss. Inside, you'll receive your next instructions. I'm busy with something else right now, so you just have to do it.
I know this may all be hard to believe, but there is much more going on here than you realize. I hope this is the beginning of a long and prosperous relationship between you and I.
