This information consisted of images, audio, and both print and digital documents, and contained a large amount of falsehoods, including but not limited to:

• The existence of various figures in the scientific community
• A field of science14
• Terminology specific to said field of science
• Devices used for unknown purpose
• Scientific theories and results existing within currently known scientific fields that have no known purpose

There are currently no means of understanding or using the knowledge gained from this information. The meaning of the specialized terminology cannot be determined. Researchers have noticed that all information recovered uses the names of gods from Roman or Greek mythology to name various fictitious entities, and assumes that these entities are spherical or otherwise round; this appears to be the foundation of its geographic theory.

Despite the fact that this information is entirely fabricated and nobody can understand it, when SCP-CN-2879 is disseminated to the public, it is presented as "popular science", a "simplified explanation" or "meant to be emotional". This led to the public accepting SCP-CN-2879. Further exposure to a variety of researchers indicates that the theories presented by the anomaly appear to be complete and self-consistent.
